ROUTE
An Epic Challenge Ahead!
After all, it's quite an achievement to tour the entire Szczecin Lagoon at once.
Absolutely amazing and stunning cycling routes of Western Pomerania await us. Right after the start, at sunrise, we will meet wild horses and Scottish cows living in the Szczecin Lagoon Nature Park.
We will pass the historic Slavs and Vikings open-air museum on the Wolin Island. And then reach the Baltic Sea with the newly completed section of the trail. Cycling along the sea and smelling pine forests, we will cross the Polish-German border.
On the way to Anklam, we will pass mysterious backwaters with a flooded forest and a drawbridge from 1931. Continue through the bird paradise and the Anklamer Stadtbruch nature reserve to Ueckermünde.
Szczecin for some of you may be a place for a longer rest. Take a breath, gain strength and set off on the last part of the route! It's not far!
Most of the route coincides with the official route around the Szczecin Lagoon. Varied surface (gravel, asphalt, forest roads, cobblestones).
LOCATION
A car parking space will be prepared for motorized competitors at the Frajda. Nearest railway station: Goleniów (35 km).
TO BE A FINISHER
Everyone who completes the race deserves great respect! A special medal will be waiting for each finisher behind the finish line. The best 6 female and male competitors will be awarded with statuettes and material prizes.
FOOD
The starter package includes a regeneration meal at the finish of the race. However, we also encourage you to take part in the Pasta Party, which will take place on Friday, May 19, the day before the start. This is a great opportunity to meet other cyclists, spend time in a beautiful place and relax.
We also encourage you to buy the Awesome Pre-Start Breakfast, which will be served by the best aunt-cooks in the world, from 4:00 am on the day of the start. Our bellies will be filled with pancakes, baked porridge, scrambled eggs, sandwiches, aromatic coffee and tea.
Remember that we are at the end of the world and the possibility of buying anything within a radius of 12 km is very limited. That's why we recommend this option (Pasta Party + Pre-start Breakfast).
FRAJDA
Our base is the absolutely wonderful Frajda, located 100 meters from the beautiful, sandy beach of the Szczecin Lagoon.
Frajda is a house with a soul, a meeting place for people terminally infected with love for the outdoors and adventure. The atmosphere of this place makes that whoever comes to Frajda will forever stays in love with this place.
We invite you not only to the take part in the race. Come, disconnect from everyday life for the whole weekend. Sit with us by the crackling bonfire under the absolutely fantastic Czarnocin sky. Take a deep breath. You are at the end of the world.
Tourist standard rooms, 4-8 persons, with shared bathrooms, but under a million stars. The stars, which, due to the fact that the Frajda is located at the real end of the world, shine brighter than anywhere else.
